What I love about the Hawaiian Islands, is that there is so much more here to offer beside the beautiful white sand and teal beaches, you just have to go and look for it!
On one of my first trips to the Big Island, one of the first things I wanted to see was Black Sand Beach!
Did you know that there are only a handful of true Black Sand Beaches in the world?
And one of them is Punalu’u Black Sand Beach!!
The moment I stepped my foot in that fine, albeit hot black sand beach, I knew I needed to do a shoot here!
Well, I made it a goal to do a session there this year, and well I completed that goal with Hannah and David!
This gorgeous couple was on their way out of Hawaii, getting transferred to the East Coast for the military, and wanted their wedding images to document the beauty of Hawaii!
When I mentioned if they would want to do them at the black sand beach, Hannah gave me a big YES!!!
With the stunning florals from Blue Kai Designs, I knew that we were set for a gorgeous day!
