It’s been such a great week here and I can’t wait to share it with you!! It’s been raining, yes RAINING tons here in California, which is much needed for our severe drought, but I was able to still get some amazing sessions done last week!!

Great news is happening around here last week as well!! First, I was honored to find out that I am one of the PREFERRED Senior Photographers for Salinas High School 2016-2017 school year! OMG!!!
So, I posted on the blog last week how I entered the Shoot & Share Photo Contest! Over 225,000 images were submitted! This is one of the biggest international photo contests! No one knew whose photos they were voting for as there were no watermarks allowed! I knew for sure that at least one of my images had made it to round 8, but didn’t know any more as there were 10 rounds!!
Well, I just received this WONDERFUL email here letting me know that one or more of my images made it as a FINALIST!!! AHHH!!!
That is the top 3% of 225,000+ images!!!
I still don’t know the standings of the photos, but when I do, I will make sure you are the first to know!!
Now, going to do the happy dance and try to wipe this cheesy grin off my face!!!!!

Now on to my favorite part of the blog post!! My favorite image this week easily goes to Stephanie and this amazing maternity session! You would not have know just how cold and windy it was out there, yet, Stephanie braved the cold! She would shiver, pose, and then her hubby would run to her with a blanket! I think the coldness was worth it!!!
And this week’s favorite image goes to none other than Miss Bailey!!! She is 6 weeks old, and mom still wanted to get photos of her done! Dad loves the guitar, so this was a must have shot!! Not only did this image get 1,418 likes (WOW), it reached over 18,000 people on Facebook! So glad you all loved it!!
