Aloha and good morning!
Another fabulous Monday morning it is!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed Mother’s Day! I know we did!
We hiked Koko Head as a family and wow, it most certainly was a hike! I kept reading that it was just over 1,000 stairs going up, so I didn’t think that would be too bad, right?
These steps were more like logs and railroad tracks that you really had to climb up on! Plus, a bridge part with a 40ish foot drop at one point!
But when you got to the top, the view was AMAZING!
Getting down…..well…that was another story!
Because we had the kiddos with us and it was so steep going down, we had to go very slow, and then it started to rain! I know that a lot of reviews state that this is a kid friendly hike, and while my girls did such an amazing job, I don’t know if I would take them on that hike again, especially seeing adults slipping and tripping on the way down! FYI, my kids already told me they are not doing that hike again! LOL!
This past week was the busiest week I’ve had since moving to Hawaii, and I really can’t complain about that! Wedding venue tours, sessions, booking weddings! It’s been a blast!!!

Last weeks top blog post was this amazing one for Military Spouse Appreciation Day! Seeing as I’m a military spouse, that makes my heart so happy that it was the top blog post last week! If you missed it, check it out here!
I also had the pleasure of touring one of the most prettiest wedding venues I’ve had the pleasure of seeing so far! Haiku Gardens is such a beautiful, quaint spot to get married at here on Oahu! As a Hawaii wedding photographer, I like to go and introduce myself to wedding venues here, and I am so thankful that Haiku Gardens took the time to meet with me! Stay tuned next week for a blog post about my tour!
That’s pretty much it for this week! It’s my birthday week so I can’t see what they week and new year for me has in store!!!
