I have the wonderful honor of being able to travel to so many beautiful places around the country documenting love, and I get to meet some amazing people along the way!

But, when you get to travel to Arizona to visit your longest best friend in the world and capture her and her hubby Ryan’s 6 month wedding anniversary, well, it just makes this job a little bit sweeter!

Yes, Niki and I have known each other since Middle School!!! We had a group of 4 of us that were BFF’s -> I’m talking matching outfits in high school and everything! Niki’s home was my home away from home, and her family was there for me during some of the hardest times of my childhood! Niki actually gave me part of her Christmas gift one year- tickets to see the Backstreet Boys! That particular year, I hadn’t gotten anything for Christmas, so it was extra special, and we had so much fun!!

Life in the last 20+ years (holy crap we are getting old!) has taken us through marriages, kids, divorces, family deaths, dips in our friendship, and everything in between. But, I am truly honored to still have her in my life, and was honored to be at her wedding last year as well!

I was visiting Arizona to speak at Showit United and I was so happy to spend 10 hours with her and her hubby Ryan taking these stunning images! We started their session at Watson Lake, which was so incredibly stunning! The lake looked like glass and it was magical!

Then it was the drive up to Sedona and all I can say is WOW!!! I truly have never seen views that incredible! I can’t wait to head back to Arizona to capture more beauty! In the meantime, check out Niki and Ryan’s beautiful couples shoot in Sedona!
