“On the coast of somewhere beautiful, tradewinds blowing in her hair, sunlight dancing on the water….” Kenny Chesney . This might be one of my favorite Oregon Elopement to share with you guys!

Ashley and Khrystian are one of my all-time favorite clients! I met them almost two years ago (OMG, I can’t believe that), when they inquired about their wedding in Hawaii!

The moment we got on our Facetime call, the both of us were wearing Disney Ears (Ashley put in her contact form how much she loved Disney and even was proposed to at Disneyland) and when I saw that, I knew we were a match!

We captured their beautiful engagement session in Hawaii that you can see here! Literally, their entire engagement session was just perfect!!

We spent the year prepping for their beautiful Hawaii wedding, and then 2020 happened. With Hawaii still completely shut down as their wedding approached, they had to make the difficult decision to postpone their wedding. I know how hard it was for them, but they handled it with so much grace.

Then I got their call! They told me while they still wanted their Hawaii wedding in 2021, they wanted to get married on their wedding date, and would I come to Oregon to capture their elopement on Cannon Beach!!

Of course, I said yes!!!!!

Check out Ashley and Khrystian’s Beautiful Oregon Elopement at Cannon Beach!

Ashley and Khrystian celebrated their wedding with a small number of friends. Most people couldn’t fly out, but by a miracle, her brother who is active duty military was able to get leave and come and be her officiant! After their afternoon elopement, we headed to a restraunt to eat! Because of Covid, we all couldn’t sit at the same table, but we still had so much fun!

After heading out for sunset photos, we came back in, and by surprise, the restaurant played them a first dance song, which so happens to be my wedding song too!

“At last
My love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song..’

This incredible Oregon Elopement shows that big weddings may be getting canceled or rescheduled, but love has not. No matter how big or small, your day is special, and I hope to be there to capture it with you!

Shoot me a message and let’s plan your special day today!
