Let me be honest with you, I am not a morning person!
Not even a little bit! I just posted in Instagram last night how it was 11pm, but I get so much of my work done between the hours of 10pm and 2am! I just love the quiet of the night!
But, you know when I do become a morning person? For a gorgeous sunrise session! And when the sunrise is at Lanikai Beach, in Kailua, oh, you bet I’m there!
(luckily, the Starbucks near me opens at 4:30am, so that helps as well 😉 )
Monica and Edgar came to Hawaii to celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary, and wanted to have a vow renewal to renew their love, in front of their two children! That is why I love vow renewals so much! Because so much has changed since you said your vows so many years ago: life happens, good and bad things happen, your family grows, but through it all, you and your spouse have stay committed to each other.
And what a way to do it than in paradise!
We met at Lanikai Beach at 5:30am, and because the sunrises on this side of the island, and clear skies was in the forecast, I knew it would be a beautiful morning, and as usual, Hawaii did not disappoint!
The only thing that went wrong this day was poor Edgar got stung by a Portuguese Man of War! They are beautiful creatures with a serious sting much worse than jellyfish! I felt so bad, but he continued to smile as he looked at his beautiful bride Monica, knowing that nothing could take away this moment!
Enjoy their beautiful sunrise vow renewal now!
