I thought of this quote as I was preparing Kate and Ryan’s Oahu engagement session post! As long as I have been photographing couples, it’s always nice when you a see a couple whose love refreshes your soul! Kate and Ryan were that couple!
Kate contacted me a few months ago as she was planning her summer wedding with Ryan at Paradise Cove! I was so happy when we connected and she mentioned that she wanted to get engagement photos done as well!
Since I was still new to Hawaii, I went out and looked for the perfect beach for their photos, and found it!
It was a beautiful night for their engagement photos!
The weather was perfect, the water was warm, and all I needed was this gorgeous couple in front of my camera! 
Their engagement session went by so fast! It didn’t feel like we were working at all! Kate and Ryan’s natural connection really was what I was capturing! At one point, as we were sitting on the rocks, we saw several sea turtles in the water! We all took a minute to watch them and marvel in the awe that is Hawaii! 
I knew what I wanted for the final shot of the night, and luckily for my, my clients trust me! I told them that we would get a little bit wet, and they didn’t mind!! As this was the final shot, I saw it was totally worth it!!
