Being a Hawaii engagement photographer, I am so lucky and blessed to meet so many couples who are visiting the islands and want to capture their love here in paradise!
Kaily and Christer were different! They were getting ready to move off the island due to Christer’s job, and wanted to capture their beautiful engagement session at the place that they fell in love with each other! Kaily has lived on the islands for quite a while, and met Christer online ( I love the new age way of meeting!)
He invited her to brunch with his friends, which turned into an afternoon catamaran sail in Waikiki which turned into a movie night that ended with the best first kiss Kaily ever had…HER WORDS! From that day on, they were hooked! He’s in the army and had only been on island about a year when they met. We never miss an opportunity for adventure -sunrises in Lanikai, hikes to gorgeous waterfalls, teaching him how to surf – Hawaii makes it so easy to fall in love!
So, I knew that their engagement session had to be fun, surrounded by beauty and really show them off!!! Little did I know just how much fun we were going to have, and even get a little wet at the end!

I am so excited for their San Diego Wedding this summer! It’s going to be amazing!
I don’t know about you, but I am ready to head to the beach myself and take a dip in the ocean!!!! Luckily, the water here is quite warm!
