I truly love being a family photographer in Colorado Springs and beyond! I have been blessed to travel not only our country, but the world photographing couples, families, and love….so much love.
Family sessions, especially during the holiday season, are some of my favorite portrait sessions to capture! I love seeing families, and I do have something for the little ones!
This special family actually had their photos done in Seattle, Washington, but you can’t tell me that we don’t have amazing locations just like this here in Colorado! As you can see, Jennie was expecting another beautiful baby boy, and not was the perfect time to capture not only their growing family but some maternity photos as well!
The weather was absolutely perfect that day! A little bit of clouds in the sky is a photographer’s best friend!! Don’t let those clouds fool you! What happens is the fact that it creates even light at your session, making it so that you don’t have to squint, and I can pose you anyway!! This day, it actually started raining right before the session ended, but you can see how stunning the light was during your session!

If you are wanting some maternity session tips as well, the biggest question that I get is when should you do your maternity photos.
I always say that it is best to schedule and have your maternity session done no later than 34 weeks! You want to still feel good, feel good to stand for about 45 mins, and far enough out that hopefully, no health issues happen! And yes, I personally do not mind capturing both a family and maternity session at the same time, as long as we stay within our time!!!
