My Photography Goals for California | Pacific Grove Photographer | Vanessa Hicks Photography

As I get settled here in Monterey, I needed to sit and think about what I wanted to accomplish in my time here! 

I am a big list maker, and I believe in having goals, both short term and long term! This keeps me motivated with my business, as it gives me something to look forward too! I especially love the feeling I get when I cross the items off of my list!

I came up with a list of things I want to accomplish in the next 18 months here. I am sure that the list will grow, but I am going to work my hardest to accomplish these! So, I figured I would share them with you!

* Book 10 Weddings (I hope to book more but this is my goal!)

*Conduct Christmas Minis next year

                                                                          Last year’s highly successful Christmas Minis! Just not enough time this year with just arriving to plan! NEXT YEAR THOUGH, IT’S ON!!!

*Conduct a session in a Sunflower Field

*Conduct a session in a Lavender Field

*Book an Out of Town Wedding (outside of Monterey and surrounding areas)

*Attend a Bridal Show

*Get published in a local magazine

*Do a Styled Shoot- bridal and maternity

*Do more birth sessions

Again, I am sure that I will come up with many more ideas and goals, but this is a great list to start off with!!
