Is it really August?
I mean seriously, how did that happen?
This summer just flew by!! Kids are starting to go back to school here soon, school supply shopping, I feel like I just blinked and the summer is almost gone!!!
Our family is officially complete as my husband is now home in Virginia! We are counting down our days till we head out to Monterey and we are so very excited!! 23 days and counting!!
Now on to this weeks sneaks and reveals!! It’s been crazy busy around here with exciting news and such!!

So much exciting things happened last week! I don’t even know where to begin!
First off, Vanessa Hicks Photography was featured on Southern Weddings! One of my gorgeous clients, Suiter, did a wonderful article about tips to surviving deployment! I had the wonderful opportunity of capturing her husband returning on the USS Helena! Go and check out her great article and leave her some love! I’ll make sure to blog this awesome homecoming soon!
The next BIG thing that happened this week, and I’m not sure if I blogged about it, is the cover story came out on Military Spouse Magazine for August 2015!
It was such an honor to be interviewed by this magazine that I’ve followed and read for years, and wow, the cover?! Just completely honored and humbled by this experience! The article is amazing and I hope you all take a look at it!
