So as most of you know, when my husband returns from deployment, our family will be relocating to Monterey, California!

I have been so blessed here in Virginia since starting my business in July! I had GREAT word of mouth from my friends who I had done sessions with in the past! How I managed my first 5 months and ending 2014 with 89 sessions is beyond belief! I ended the year with 89 sessions, 29 5 star reviews, 1200+ likes on my business page, and many new friends! The year for me was rough, opening up a business, many personal changes, including prepping for a husband to be gone a year, but through it all, Vanessa Hicks Photography brought me happiness!
So, the hard part of this is starting all over, and believe me, I’m scared!!
“What if I’m not successful like I was in Virginia?”
“What if no one books me?”
But, being a military spouse, this is the life we choose. And, I am so glad that I have a business that I can pick up and take with me no matter where I go!
So, I have to choose an official date that I will be “closing shop” here in Virginia to prep for our move to California.
The date my business will stop taking new clients here is August 7th!! Which is exactly 3 months from yesterday!!!
For those who already have scheduled sessions with me after that date NOTHING has changed!!
What I am hoping from all of yours that if you live in Monterey or the surrounding areas, or know someone that does, please share my page with them! I am so excited about the new changes and I hope to be just as successful out there as I was here!
In the meantime, I have three months left to get all the sessions done here as possible! My calendar is filling up quickly so if you are looking for a session with me before I leave, contact me soon!!!
