Hello and Happy Tuesday!!! That’s a new one for the Weekly Roundup blog!!! Since yesterday was 4th of July, I spent time with my family for the holiday weekend! Had a relaxing time with my husband, and now it’s back to work like the most of us are today! Which always messes me up!! LOL!
WOW! Last week was just incredible for so many reasons! I am blessed that as Vanessa Hicks Photography approaches the end of its second year, it is still growing, with so much more to do!!

So much greatness! Seriously, to be able to photograph a 50th year wedding anniversary and a 70th year wedding anniversary pulled my heart strings in so many different directions!!!

This past week I was blessed to execute my very first styled shoot off the coast of Big Sur!! It was incredible!! I was so nervous to bring 7 different vendors together to pull this shoot off! The only thing that went ‘wrong’ was the cold and the wind, but luckily Camille and her boyfriend Mitch were troopers! The shots that we got were amazing, and here is a few sneak peeks of them!!
I will definitely be blogging about this styled shoot soon!
This week my work was also featured on The Daily Wedding! It featured my favorite elegant, donut eating couple, Mr. and Mrs. Shields! Make sure you go and check out the feature!
So much amazing photos were taken this past week. My favorite photo this week, has to go to this amazing couple celebrating their 70th year anniversary.
This is what 70 years of marriage looks like!!! These two got married at just 18, and she told me that our generation needs to work on our marriages instead of giving up too early!!
