Happy Thursday everyone! Another week flying by!!! Today, I have been a bit under the weather, but I wanted to get this blog out as it was on my mind this week, and then going back to my bed to rest :p
Forgiveness….
A simple word.
One that has so many feelings attached to it.
Something that can change your life, for good or bad.

This word forgiveness has been something hard for me.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not one to hold grudges or anything like that. But, sometimes, you have been so hurt by someone or something, and that hurt changed your life.
That has been me. Without going into too much detail, I’ve been hurt by my childhood, my family, an ex husband, you name it. These things that these people did or events that happened changed me.
Why, why should I forgive people who hurt me so, and show no compassion for what they have done?
Because, it’s not about them. It’s about me. It’s about making my soul feel better. It’s about living life with no regrets. It’s about setting myself free, and letting me continue to grow as a human being. Forgiving doesn’t make you weak, it sets you free.
Are you holding on to something that you need to let go of? To forgive? Do it!
Don’t do it for anybody but for yourself. You don’t have to even tell that person you are forgiving them. It’s NOT about them, but about you.
Remember, we are only promised so many tomorrows, so don’t wait to do this.
Set yourself free!
