Before moving to California, all I kept hearing about were the sunsets here. I knew, based on all the photos that I had seen, that one day, I needed to get some sunset mountain engagement photos done! One day, I was going to book that perfect couple for that type of session.
And then Bri and Jason booked me for their wedding, and when they mentioned doing their engagement photos at Mount Laguna, I about died and went to heaven!
I mean, can you blame me?!
Bri and Jason are close friends with my best friend Jennifer and her husband! That’s one thing about the military. Seeing as only 1% of our nation is part of the military, it’s rather small! The theory of 7 degrees of separation is true!
Bri and Jason were getting married at Still Water Vineyards and Winery in Paso Robles, California, and needed a wedding photographer. Even though Jennifer is a wedding photographer herself, she referred me to photograph their wedding, and the rest is history! The true form of #communityovercompetition!

When they mentioned Mount Laguna for their sunset engagement photos, I was so excited! I had never been to Mount Laguna, but thanks to my friend Google Earth, I was able to scope out the area and find some amazing spots for their session!
Bri mentioned that these mountains reminded her of back home, and that made me love it even more!
