I think one of the most favorite things about being a photographer in Hawaii is the fact that so many people come to Hawaii to celebrate something special in their lives! And I am always so honored when I am chosen to capture said something special!
Tina and her husband were in town for a beautiful babymoon on the island of Oahu, and wanted to capture the special moment! One of my favorite beaches for the views is Sandy Beach! With Halona Blowhole in the background, this location is perfect both for sunrise and sunset as well!
One of my biggest regrets as a mother is the fact that I never took any maternity photos. Sure, I did some of the crappy cell phone photos, but looking back, what a regret.
Moments not captured or documented.
I felt just like many mothers do. Fat, swollen, ugly, not like me! Maybe you got that wonderful pregnancy glow that makes you have that acne. Maybe you feel like a can of biscuits.
My friend, take the photos. Not only for the future you, but your future child. Show them the beauty and the love of you, their mother, growing them inside of you. From one mother to another, you won’t regret it (well, you may regret a bad photographer, but that’s another story!)
