Oh California, you have always been good to me!
If you didn’t know, Vanessa Hicks Photography has expanded to California!!!! Yes, I do travel worldwide, but my brand will be housed in Hawaii and California from here on out!!
So, you will see me heading to California A LOT for work, networking, and so much more…including Disneyland shoots!
This summer, I took a trip to San Diego for the amazing The Knot San Diego Workshop! I was able to connect with Southern California Wedding vendors, and learn from incredible people!
I was so excited afterwards to meet Kristara and Andrew at the La Jolla Coves for a beautiful wedding shoot with them! They have been married for a while, and unfortunately, they didn’t get amazing photos when they got married! And wanted to have wedding photos that they would treasure forever!
Their beautiful relationship has seen their ups and downs with health issues, and little did I know that they were struggling that day. All I wanted to do was create lasting images at this beautiful location in California! As Kristara told me, she would treasure these images for the rest of their lives!
If you’ve never been to La Jolla, you have to go! I loved watching all of the seals lounging on the cliffs, and it really reminded me of our time in Monterey, California!
The incredible florals by Pluck Floral was to DIE FOR!!! I just couldn’t get over how stunning they were, and even more than I envisioned!!! Make sure you head over to Instagram and check out her beautiful work!
