Aloha and welcome to another edition of #weddingwednesday tips!
Today we are talking all about
your wedding bouquet!
Let your wedding florals be your statement piece and/or your wedding accessory!
I have seen and photographed so many wedding, from the simplest of weddings to larger scale weddings, and your florals, especially your bouquet, is always center stage!
Even if you are having a simple wedding, make sure you make your wedding bouquet a priority? Why? Because, this gorgeous bouquet is going to be everywhere, on your walls, in your wedding album, at your parents’ house, on your computer screen desktop- in all of your important photos, your wedding bouquet will be in those images, so it’s important that you like it!
If you are on a tight budget, I always recommend simplifying your bridesmaid’s bouquets and putting your dollars towards your own bouquet, for the reasons I mentioned above!
As a destination wedding photographer here in Hawaii, obviously, we are surrounded by tropical and gorgeous florals! Still, after speaking with a number of florists, it is extremely important that you contact your florist as soon as possible? Why? Because, just as I’m sure is the case with mainland florists, not everything is in season here, and if you have to have florals shipped to Hawaii, that is something that you want to know ahead of time!
Below are some links to my favorite florists on the island! Check them out and make sure you let them know I sent you!!
