I am so excited to share with you Kailin and Mitch’s amazing engagement session in Kauai today!
I’m pretty sure I’m most excited about about the way we came to meet, and all of the goodness that came after!! I received a message on Instagram from Kaitlin this summer.
She was ecstatic!
Her boyfriend Mitch had literally just proposed a few hours ago in Kauai, where they were on vacation!!! She knew it was last minute, but was hoping if there way a way to schedule engagement photos before they left and went back home to the PNW!
I literally had ONE day that I could make this happen, and it just happen to be THE NEXT DAY!!!!
I didn’t know if they would be available, but she said yes, I booked a flight on Hawaiian Airlines for the next day, and that was that!!!!
We headed to Shipwrecks Beach, which is one of my favorite beaches in Kauai, and where Mitch had just proposed to Kaitlin with a stunning ring!
We had an amazing session!! The sun was setting, we talked about wedding planning, laughed at The Office jokes, and just truly enjoyed each other’s company, along with getting some gorgeous shots!
By the time I got home ( I was literally in Kauai for about 4 hours!), Kaitlin sent me a text message letting me know just how comfortable they felt with me, and would love to know details about if I could fly to Arizona to shoot their wedding.
Fast forward a few days, and I was booked for their amazing January wedding at The Paseo in Arizona!!!
I really love this amazing career of mine when wonderful moments like this happen! I think the icing on the cake was after Kaitlin booked, she emailed me the following :
I can’t wait!!! I’ve already added a to do before the wedding–rewatch/watch ALL of the Office so I can partake in your office jokes
You already know, I was dying on the inside of PURE JOY!!!!
