This may possibly be on of my all time favorite blog posts to write, with one of my all time favorite sessions!
As a photographer, sometimes its nice to step outside of the box and do a “creative” shoot. One that no one is paying for, and you can let your ideas come to life.
As a wedding photographer here in Hawaii, I am surrounded by gorgeous florals. And I literally kept dreaming about a bride draped in flowers!
I just didn’t know how to accomplish that look.
Then at a wedding, I was photographing a bride with a cathedral veil, and then it hit me!
A floral veil!!!
Now, I had to go to one of my favorite florists on the island to make that happen, Jeff at Creative Concepts!
When I sent him my idea, he was on board!!! And boy, did he make the vision come to life! I wish I could tell you how good this floral veil smelled!
My beautiful friend Leslie was totally down for playing along, so we headed out to Makapuu Beach at 5:30am to watch the sun rise, and well, this unbelievable magic happened!
I knew this one would be picture heavy, but can’t you see why?!? This shoot was literally a dream come true!!!
