I am so happy that we live in a world with Octobers! It gives me the magical ability to capture fall engagement photos! And after you see Keith and Kalani’s fall engagement session, you will see why!
Kalani and Keith live in Missouri and really wanted to capture their love at their home. And of course, we thought that the fall colors would be perfect!
Now, planning your engagement session, in fall Missouri weather, and trying to time it right with the leaves, was going to prove hard!
We had one chance to do this, as I was flying in for the session, and we just had to cross our fingers!!

In the days leading up to their session, we started to stress about the weather! It was apparently in the ’40s, cold and grey! FYI, trying to find winter clothes in Hawaii to prepare for that type of cold is damn near impossible!
The day I flew in, it was like the photography God’s had answered our prayers!
Not only was it a beautiful day, but the temperature was in the low 70’s!! I was actually hot!!
As we prepared for the session, Keith was running late from work (hello military!!), and by the time we got to the park, we had less than 30 mins to complete their engagement session!
I think we knocked it out of the park!
