As a Colorado engagement photographer, I have had several places in my mind where I wanted to photograph a beautiful session at! One of those locations was Lost Gulch Lookout in Boulder, Colorado!
A special couple would make this location even better as well!
Bryna and Ryan were it!!
It was the perfect day in Boulder! The only thing that was potentially getting in our way was the wind! It called for 20 mph gusts of wind, and as we were heading up the Boulder Mountains, I was worried about how that would affect our session!
As you can see, I think it only made our session even better!

Even with the wind, this engagement session up in the Boulder Mountains could not be any better! Bryna and Ryan were planning their beautiful Hawaii wedding, and then the C word happened, postponing their wedding.
While the process of moving your wedding and hoping for the best was the name of the game for much of 2020-2021, this couple not only decided to move forward with their rescheduled wedding in Hawaii, but have their original wedding date and wedding here in their home in Colorado!
Here is the thing about love, life and relationships…..life happens.
Sometimes the wind will blow up a dust storm, or a virus could ruin the plans you had dreamed of for years. But, one of my favorite lines from Ted Lasso says it all about this couple:
I witness them plan a wedding in Hawaii, move from NYC to Colorado, then postpone their wedding multiple times, to have their wedding in both Denver and Hawaii! I am most positive that it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows.
But I have seen their love upfront and personally. I see the way Ryan looks at Bryna like he is the most luckiest man in the world. And Bryna just radiates not just physical beauty, but beauty on the inside as well!
