So, if you have followed me for a while, you know that Christmas is my all time favorite holiday!!!
Since becoming a professional photographer, I always wanted to create Christmas themed wedding, but as typical, the holidays and busy season would creep up year after year, and I just hadn’t gotten around to it!
Of course, I would get the inspiration here, in Hawaii, where it’s currently winter at 80+ degrees!!!
My concern was how would I create a Christmas themed wedding in paradise, and make it feel like the holidays!!!
So I got to work with one of my favorite event planners and preferred vendor Vida Chic Events, to find the perfect vendors and location for this amazing shoot!
We didn’t want to do a beach theme, as that didn’t give us the vibe we were looking for! A lot of the greenery forest areas were wet as this is rainy season for us. There is only one small Christmas tree farm here on the island, and the space wouldn’t work for us either!
Then we stumbled upon this spot at a local park in Waikiki, and that was it! This wonderful walkway with a row of trees worked!!
Everything that I has envisioned for this shoot came to life, with the exception of snow, but that’s quite alright! I loved all of the amazing vendors that came and helped bring this together!
So sit back, turn on some Christmas music, drink on some hot chocolate, and enjoy this beautiful Christmas themed wedding!
