I know I have said it before and I will say it again…..
Engagement Sessions are some of my FAVORITE sessions to photograph!!
And sometimes, the Universe aligns and brings you one of the most perfect couples, on the most perfect morning, with the most perfect sunrise, on the most perfect beach in Hawaii!
And guess what….it was perfect!
See….I told ya!
Ashley and Julian had recently got engaged (wait till you see the stunner of a rock that he put on her hand! I think it sunk the Titanic!), and were coming to Hawaii from the Pacific Northwest for vacation and to plan their wedding!
And, while the Pacific Northwest is amazing, nothing beats having an engagement session done in Paradise!
Now, being island life, we ran into a few hiccups at first with the weather, but I was determined to give these two lovebirds an amazing engagement session! That’s what I promised them! And that is exactly what I was going to do!
Lanikai Beach in Kailua, Hawaii is one of the most iconic beaches on the island. Complete with the two mokes in the backgroud, the teal blue waters, and the white sand, it’s a must-see while you are here! But, the sun actually rises right at this beach, making it absolutely worth the early morning wakeup call to capture this beauty!
Ashley and Julian did it with ease!

I told you guys, it was perfect!!! I am so excited to be capturing their beautiful wedding at Haiku Mill in Maui this fall! If it’s ANYTHING like their engagement session, well, it’s just going to be…you guessed it….PERFECT!
