This beautiful Arizona wedding will be one that I remember for the rest of my days as a wedding photographer.
Not only was Mitch and Kaitlin’s wedding just PERFECT, but this was also the 100th wedding that I had shot at the time! To hit such a milestone was something I had waited so long for, and it was fitting that such a milestone would be this wedding!
Being a destination wedding photographer and living in a destination market, it’s much harder to see a couple through their engagement all the way to their actual wedding! Most of the time, they are just visiting Hawaii, or don’t think they can afford a destination photographer, and already have booked a wedding photographer when they meet me!
But I was so incredibly lucky to have met Mitch and Kaitlin literally days later after Mitch got on one knee and proposed! They were visiting Kauai and it worked out so well! After Mitch proposed, Kaitlin reached out, with only days left in Kauai, I hopped on a flight, and got to photograph their beautiful engagement session in Kauai!

Mitch and Kaitlin’s wedding was held at The Paseo, which is one of the most stunning venues in Arizona! With the beautiful desert surrounding it, and complete with Superstition Mountain as a backdrop, it’s no wonder this wedding venue is hard to get in to, because it’s always booked!
One of my favorite parts of the wedding day was capturing Mitch and Kaitlin’s first look! The moment Mitch turned around and saw his future wife, absolutely STUNNING in her Martina Liana Bridal Designs dress, it literally took his breath away! I remember I started to get nervous because as I was photographing them, my viewfinder was blurry. No, it wasn’t a mechanical issue, it was my tears blurring my vision!
