Hello August!! I seriously can not believe that summer is practically over! Here in California, my kids are going back to school TOMORROW, so talk about a short summer! All that means for me is that I turn my attention to my most favorite, busy time of year….FALL!!! Planning holiday sessions, and Christmas cards, and vacations, it will be a busy remaining of the year!!
So much was accomplished last month, but not everything! Accepting that, looking to see what i can do differently this month, and moving on from it! A lot of times I spend too much time beating myself up about what I didn’t finish, but not anymore!
*Booked our Harry Potter trip for October *School supply and clothes shopping was done way early! *Enjoyed a wonderful San Francisco day trip with the family *Promoted and booked MANY fall/Christmas Sessions *Have not one but TWO Christmas themes for holiday photos * Was published 4 times last month! Check out some of the features here, here and here!! * Purchased a beautiful Sigma Art 35mm lens! *
Now on to August’s Goals!
Personal:
- Take back to school photos of girls
- Purchase Running Costumes for Disneyland Half Marathon next month!
- Sign girls up for fall sports (Roller Derby for Jasmine, Soccer for Taty)
- Purchase Vegas Ticket for Rock and Roll Half Marathon
- Lose 5 lbs this month
Business:
- Take promo shots for Styled Christmas Minis
- Get published 4 times
- Book 15 sessions this month
- Start Maryland Research
- Book One Wedding
