Hello New Week and the last week of June! I seriously can not believe that July is almost here! I am excited about 4th of July weekend and all of the fun that usually brings!!!
This past week I was on vacation with my husband! It was our first kid free vacation since we’ve been together! It was OH SO HOT in Vegas (around 110-115 each day!!). So I spent alot of time at the pool with some adult beverages! We took in the sites, watched a couple of shows, and just RELAXED!!!! It was absolutely needed!! Here are a few pics from our vacation!
Lot’s of fun was had! Of course I got back to San Francisco where it was 68 degrees and I was freezing!!!
Of course, there was still work to be done last week, and I went right from vacation into work mode with several sessions this past weekend!!! Check out the gorgeous photos!!!

Alot of great things were going on to while I was on vacation!!! Two amazing weddings were published on Borrowed and Blue’s website!!! This is always the hard part- Choosing my favorite image for the week! I am going to have to give it to this beautiful baby girl Sophia hanging out with her hero daddy!!!
And now to the featured image of this week! I have to tell you the crazy story of this image first!!
I dreamt about this maternity session for weeks! Found the dress and perfect model to make it happen.
But, the universe decided to play some games with me!
First, the “short” hike was not short at all! It was over a mile up a rocky trail!
When we finally arrive, my sandals broke!!!????????
So I did this beautiful shoot BAREFOOT, in the dirt and rocks!
How did I get down that rocky hike? BAREFOOT!
And then we got lost going down as it was getting dark!!
All that to say, the pics were worth it and my feet are cut up and swollen!
Luckily, the gorgeous Brenda laughed and seemed to be ok! She was definitely a trooper, and I hope she doesn’t hate me!!!
