As I mentioned in the previous post, I now know as a mother how I wish I would have booked myself a maternity session when I was pregnant with my daughters! How I wish I would have captured that beauty of being pregnant!!
Here are some of the top reasons why I think you need to book a maternity session ASAP!!!
- It doesn’t matter if this is your first or fifth child, this is the only pregnancy that you will have with THIS child! Every pregnancy is different. Capture this moment!
- The minute that your beautiful child is born, you will more than likely forget what it felt like to be pregnant!! And while some of you are like, ‘that’s a good thing’, believe me, looking at your child’s eyes as they walk to the school bus for the first time, there will be a little part of you that wishes they were still in your womb so you could start all over again! <3
- Use this as a day to spoil yourself! I always tell my mommies-to-be to pamper themselves before the session! Go and get your hair done, your makeup done! By a new outfit for this occasion! There may be a chance that you are not feeling beautiful because you are pregnant, but you would be surprised how a good facial will change that!!
- It is cliche, I know, but yes, pregnant woman glow!! You may not see it, but its my job to capture that with my camera!
- It is such a neat opportunity to show your child when they are older pictures of when they were in your tummy (now, if they ask how they got there, that’s on you!! 😉 )
- If you have other children, it is so amazing to capture them in the session with you as well! They are about to become big brothers and sisters!
- While there is a chance that you may have hated your spouse during your pregnancy for not getting you Burger King EXACTLY when you asked for it (no, just me?!?), there is such a special love and connection that is going on between the two of you, and I love to capture that!
- The POSSIBILITIES that we can do with your maternity session!! Have you checked out Pinterest lately?!? Stylized or simple, we can do it all!
- You will regret not capturing this special moment, this once in a lifetime bond, between mother and child. Your body was made for this! That bump is beautiful! It truly is, in my opinion, the best part about being a woman!
- You will make me OH SO HAPPY!! As I mentioned, I have a special place in my heart for maternity sessions, and I promise you to give you my whole heart in it!!
