Hello Monday!!! I can’t believe that we are almost towards the end of February!! This month is flying by!! Which is okay by me because that means spring is coming soon! Now, granted, here in Monterey, the weather is already beautiful!! 😉

As I’ve said many times, maternity sessions are truly one of my favorite sessions to do! Last week the blog covered maternity sessions, and I wanted to write a post on tips for a successful maternity session!

I LOVE love!! And getting to do Angela and Tom’s engagement session was great! Their love is so pure and it radiated!!! We had such a great time at Big Sur, but this is one of my favorite shots from it!!!

“Taking a photo” is as simple as having a camera and clicking on the shutter button, and anybody can do that.
“Making a photo”, however, is a whole different world.
When you make a photo, you are thinking ahead, it can be as subtle as taking a few extra seconds or move a step to the right for better composition or lighting.
Most of all, at least in my case, making a photo is pouring your heart into what you’re doing then and now. All of my feelings, all of my emotions, are embedded in every image I make. 242 likes!
