Hello Thursday and welcome to another installment of Thoughtful Thursdays!

So, this weeks Thoughtful Thursday topic has been on my mind for a while…
Yesterday, my neighbor and I had a playdate with out kiddos, while we sat down for a few hours to craft and drink coffee and Pepsi! We had a great time! But, it reminded me about how I don’t do that enough…hardly at all anymore!
See, when I started my business a year ago, I truly thought that I would be able to set my own hours, have more time with my family, just have more time! But, that hasn’t been the case at all for me. Now, is this my fault? ABSOLUTELY! I have put my ALL and then some into my business because I love what I do! I have never been happier with a job because this is my passion! But….I haven’t made time for me! Things that I used to do, I don’t do anymore….Crafting…scrapbooking…taking pictures for fun… spending time with my friends and family….doing NOTHING! My calendar is usually filled to the max, because I like to be on the go!
But, I’ve come to realize, that I am not making time for me. I am not working out like I like to, I’m not scrapbooking and doing crafts like I like to, I’m not relaxing like I like to, I’m not even documenting my own family’s memories!!! So, essentially, I am not practicing what I preach to my clients! ‘Document today because tomorrow is not promised to you.’
Now, I am sure, at least I hope, that I am not the only one that is feeling this way or doing the same thing!
So, today on Thoughtful Thursday, this is my reminder to you, to all of us.
Spend time on YOU! Do more of what YOU love. Your career and money is very important, but not more important that your memories with your family. Not more important than you! Schedule “ME” time on your calendar! Read more! Craft more! Do NOTHING more!
I know I am sure going to try!!
