California Wedding Photographer | September 2018 Goals

Well, no matter how we tried to stop it, summer is over and here we are in

September!!

(yes yes, I know technically summer isn’t over!!)

We are in the final quarter of the year!!

And you guys, this is my FAVORITE time of year!!! With pumpkin spice everything to start it off, then its Halloween, Thanksgiving, and my all time favorite holiday, CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Seriously, I love this time of year!!!

But, that also means that BUSY season is here! And yes, I seem to be busy all the time, but there is definitely a spike in work during this time, as so many people are preparing to get new photos done for the holidays ( have you seen this years indoor Christmas Mini Sessions?? You need to check them out!), PLUS, I start 8 months of going to the mainland once a month!

BUSY indeed!!

Let’s take a look at a few things that happened in August!

Photographed 5 amazing weddings this month!! FIVE!!!! And they were all sooooo beautiful!!!

We hunkered down and really lucked out here on Oahu with Hurricane Lane!

It was a Category 5 hurricane approaching our islands, which literally shut down the islands for about 4 days! Luckily for Oahu, we were spared with it as it made a turn. The Big Island and Maui were not, and they are still recovering, and will be recovering for a while.

Kiddos went back to school!

Girls went back to school this month and I can’t believe that I have a 5th and 6th grader! Time is flying by and I really need it to slow down!

Well, as usual, with such a busy month ahead, being on top of my goals and having them written down for the month is a big key factor to me successfully completing them! 

Personal:

1. Prep for my 10k at the end of the month!
2. Schedule myself a physical!
3. Start Christmas Shopping
4. Schedule fun date night with hubby!
5. Finish two books

Business:

1. Market and fully book Christmas Minis!
2. Heading to San Diego and Disneyland this month!
3. Create two free Business PDF’s!
4. Check in on 2018 Goals
5. Finish Presentation for Showit United Conference!
