Last month, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a wedding workshop with the fabulous Judith from Fresh Look Photography, who also happens to be my mentor!

Thanks for being just wonderful Judith and for helping me to become a better photographer!

Thanks for being just wonderful Judith and for helping me to become a better photographer!

Now that all that mushy stuff is out of the way ;), let’s move on to this amazing stylized wedding!!

Now, before I go forward, I know some will ask what is a stylized wedding session?

It is just what the name implies! It is not an ‘actual’ wedding. It is a session that is ‘styled’ to the photographers liking! You spend a bit more time coming up with a theme, working with photographers, props, models, etc to create your vision! Fyi, this wasn’t MY vision, this was Judith’s, and she did ALL the work to get this all together! I just KNEW I had to be involved because, if you know me, or see my logo, I LOVE GLITTER!

We start with this real life couple, Rosalie and Philip! Now, they are not married..yet! But, they way they looked at each other, the love that they showed towards each other, well, I can’t WAIT to see when these two actually get married! But, they will have a hard time topping this!

We were able to recreate a wedding from start to finish, starting off with their first look! This was real, genuine, and the ‘groom’ could barely contain himself when he saw his beautiful ‘bride’!

This is why I ALWAYS RECOMMEND a bride and groom to have a first look,…for these beautiful moments! Afterwards, we were able to get a few formal shots of just them!

Next , we got to photograph their beautiful ceremony! The glittery masquerade themed really showed in this beautiful venue at the MOCA!

There was EVEN a watercolor artist documenting the ceremony too!!! Janel worked it!!

Bridal portraits were to die for!!!!

I mean seriously, this couple was amazing!!!

The MOCA set up a beautiful reception area for us!!  The trees lit made it even more magical!

And then there was that first dance!!!!

There were so many vendors that brought this to life, and I want to say a special thank you to all of them for this amazing learning opportunity!
