Oh Angela and Tom! I am so excited to share this gorgeous couple’s engagement session on the blog today! These two lovebirds are so amazing. You can truly feel their love for each other…a love you don’t see very often! Their love story just makes your heart swoon!
Here is a preview of what Tom said about meeting Angela:
“We met in a Starbucks on a Sunday. There was a proposal to go kayaking for our first date, but it was quickly decided that meeting on dry land was much safer. I arrived about 15 minutes early and ordered as large a cup of tea as possible and sweated over whether or not Angela would show up. As she walked in, I knew this beautiful woman had to be her, so I did the only logical thing I could think of. I waited for her to order her coffee, hoping that the barista yelling out her name would confirm my suspicion of who she was. Unfortunately, they yelled out the drink type rather than her name and I was left to swallow my pride and walk over to awkwardly introduce myself. Luckily this gorgeous girl was the one I was supposed to meet and actually seemed interested in meeting me too. When we left that Starbucks two hours later, I knew there was something special there. We spent every day (except for Wednesday) of that first week together and little did she know I bought her engagement ring that Friday. I knew there was no way I was going to let this intelligent, funny, charismatic, thoughtful, caring, beautiful woman get away.

The fact that they met at Starbucks, my heaven, makes it even more awesome!!!
They wanted to have a Big Sur session, so we headed up this tiny road behind Bixby Bridge to start their session off! When I saw this road was tiny, I was scared of falling off the mountain! But we made it up there and got quite a few amazing shots with Bixby Bridge behind them!
Tom and Angela was such an easy couple! They didn’t want anything extravagant for their session. Just some great images of the two of them in love! There was no awkward posing, I just really let these two be in their element, and out came greatness! We continued down Big Sur, stopping for more amazing photos, and ended at the beach with about 10 mins left of sunlight! I am so excited for their wedding in August in Monterey! It’s going to be beautiful for these lovebirds!
